I'd hate to send my secret santa friend a big old box 'o' jesus only to discover they go in for eight candles instead. Do they make festivus cards?

I prefer christmasharkwanzakkuh, but I'll settle for christmas.

I love Christmas... just the whole atmosphere of it is nice. The lights, the music, family getting together.... I really enjoy it.

I say Christmas, but I may as well say Winter Holiday X for all it mattered. I'm not religious, much less Christian. My family has zero traditions. We don't really even really exchange presents anymore. I just celebrate it for the love and peace and happiness and good food and no school.

We celebrate Christmas. We're not really religious about it though, well at least I'm not. I just think it's a great time to get together with family and do stuff.

If we didn't have to exchange presents, I'd say Christmas is the greatest invention in the history of the universe.

isn't it really just about being together, squinty? i'm a super-cornster, but what about sharing the gift of kindness and oneness?

I'm a Christmasite to the core. It's about the religious significance first for me, because that was how I was raised. The commercial side of it is secondary; I love doing the Santa thing with my kids, but we are very specific about giving back. We go through all their current toys before Christmas and donate their gently used items to the local churches and groups. We do the 'angel trees' at several places and the girls help pick the stuff out.

I don't want them growing up thinking it's all about them getting stuff, you know? That's what birthdays are for. :)

I wear these to the bar sometimes. (If it's not too crowded.)
