Belmont & Clark for some great shoppes. There's great food all over the place. Salerno's on Roosevelt Rd. and Harlem Ave. is my favorite Chicago-style pizza. There's pretty much any kind of food you could imagine on Taylor around the Racine area. Greek or China town works great too, and you have to hit the Berghoff and the Billy Goat Tavern.



Chicago is the land of opportunity. It complicates things a little that you're under age, but there's still a lot of options. What do you like to do?

I'm really just heading up there to visit some friends from Quebec, and then Sunday I have to just hang around the city. So, I'll probably end up hitting museums until it's time for Sonmi's show. Chicago style pizza is deep dish yeah?

There's a spectrum of pizza within the "Chicago-style." Stuffed or deep dish is but one. Salerno's has good deep-dish, but the original crust is what I love. The Museum of Contemporary Art (or MCA) has a great collection and it's within walking distance of some good sights if you get tired of looking at art. The Gene Siskel Film Center usually or the Music Box Theatre usually have some great, off-beat movies showing.



There's a Vosges Chocolate on the 500 block of Michigan avenue that makes a solid, though slightly pricey, date. Lots of flavors mixed with chocolate that you wouldn't think would taste good, but damn, they do.
