I think threadless needs a better search function, so before people submit designs they can have a look through the gallery to make sure its not been done before, and get accused of plagarism.
Maybe if during submission, there was a keyword box, where you wrote relative words about your piece, which could then be searched on, rather than just the designs name.

Any other ideas, on how to improve threadless?

How do threadless know if a design is for a competition?
