I've been out of commission now for over a year. I upgraded to Windows 7 (64-bit, release candidate) around May of last year and built a fancy new computer. As a result, my old 6x8 UD-series, serial Wacom tablet was no longer compatible with either my hardware nor the OS. I was quite remiss, but it was also a sign that I should upgrade the old tablet. Checking in to prices, I quickly learned that I would be spending the same amount on a new one that I spent so many years ago. Bummer.
Fast forward to January of 2010 and I finally have my solution. I have just purchased the Bamboo Fun (~6x9) with some Christmas money and I'm so happy to be back in the game! I'm still getting used to the newer tablet. It's theoretically better than my old one, but I'm not very used to the touch&pen technology used in the newer tablets. I also am more accustomed to the smaller pens of the old ArtPad, as well as their oh-too-slick of a writing surface. No better way to get used to the new hardware than to start working on Threadless submissions again! I have a small stack of design ideas I need to flesh out, but I've also got to get back to coming up with those ideas. Back to the grindstone! |

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
