i think this would have been better without the smilies on all the little pieces, but i guess that's where the title comes in.
if it was just the paper being sad about being ripped up, it would be cuter (imo) because of the... irony? i think that's the wrong word to use... whatever.

The smiles on the little strings are the point. Its a play off "party people" - party peices. The paper is sad to be torn up, but once it is its all happy because they're going to have a party =D

I agree with those other ladies who commented. The smilies make it interesting and different. When I first saw it I literally said "What the hell, why was this printed. It's so cliche." but when I scrolled down and saw the happy faces I thought, "Actually, it's kind of cute. At least they put some effort into it." I still wouldn't buy it, but without the little faces I would be angry at Threadless.
