For those of you who have not heard, on February 12, 2008 a 15 year old boy named Lawrence King was murdered by his classmate, Brandon. This boy murdered Lawrence because he was openly gay. A few days before, Lawrence asked his killer to be his Valentine.

As a straight woman I am here to say this has got to stop. Telling the youth of our society that it is wrong to be gay, and therefore right to treat those who are as nothing and even kill them, is wrong. My heart goes out to Lawrence's family and anyone else who has been hurt by this whole ordeal. As Ellen DeGeneres stated a few days ago regarding this recent tragedy, "It's okay if you're gay."

I got a new kitten. Not sure of the gender yet, it's too young to tell. But it's black with golden eyes. I named it Kuro.

Kuro is Japanese for black, in case you didn't know.

I ordered shirts during that spring broke sale and it still hasn't been packed... And I ordered over a week ago. Is it just because there were alot of orders at the same time as mine or did mine get missed?
