I use Photoshop too. Except on one sub when I used Illustrator. Depends on your style, really, for which one's the best.

Is it possible to submit a design without using either of those programs? Just a simple one? Jasc PSP 7 for instance. I dont have either of those programs but i do have a design[in progress] that i want to sub for the Descent Into Rapture contest.

i use Photoshop 7 and cs2...

i don't use illustrator 1. dunno how, 2. too sterile...not enough artist in the art from illustrator (usually).

"You could use anything!"

No, no you couldn't.

Something that is very evident from some of your work.

   bananaphone on Mar 19 '07 at 3:03am
I'm just being a bitch, but seriously you can't just design with anything, you need to have your work print ready by the end of it and you can't just do that any old how, it kinda helps if you know what print ready means too.

minnanda
minnanda on Mar 20 '07 at 1:26am
^ Wondering the same thing. Hah. Well.. does ANYONE know what a design requires in order to get printed? From what i can gather you need the colors seperated on different layers... and... that's all i've gathered.
