Does anyone else have a color that their company is married to... and can anyone else sympathize with me having to use a teal banner across every brochure... with a grey banner underneath with (whimper) a gradient in it? I've been re-doing a bunch of brochures and have had pretty much freedom... but for each individual line they definitely want to stay with the teal banner look... they're happy with it. and i'm sad. i thought i'd whine here a little and see if anyone could share my pain.

for HP to come out in like 32 hours? I'm not even worried about the lack of sleep to come this weekend. I have to finish it by sunday morning because I'm going to Six Flags... oh what a weekend! I just finished re-reading the 6th book last night. And it felt like Dumbledore died all over again... I didn't think it would be so bad the 2nd time, but it definitely opened up some old pain. I just wanted to know if anyone else was as excited as me??????????????????

so if i downloaded the zip file then extracted it to my desktop... then what do i do to get it on illustrator?

I'm watching the republican debate with my boyfriend... and of course we're fighting because I keep pointing out ridiculous things they are saying and bringing up issues that I think they are grossly wrong about. I hate hearing them talk about health care and iraq. But what I hate more is that I can't have a discussion because he told me to shut the fuck up... so i'm bitching about it here. By the way, I'm Kara... I hang around every so often.

I am so mad at myself for buying shirts yesterday. I really like all the shirts today... damn it! I guess I like simplicity on shirts. Or maybe it's just because of the adorable kid, but i want to buy all the new shirts for my baby! I think little Coen reminds me of Gustus. That's all.

Haven't really blogged here before, but I need a little help... I have a paper due tomorrow, and I haven't started. I don't even know what I'm going to write about. I have to pick a metaphor, preferably a terrible one that would be easily torn apart... I have to counter it and come up with better comparisons and all sorts of stuff like that... so I tried searching for "bad metaphors" and I haven't come up with anything... I was hoping someone could help! Thanks!
