Whenever I see cute guys, I actually am more inclined to pay closer attention to the product that's being advertised (instead of just the model), because then I start thinking... "OK, the model is cute, but would the model look cute in almost anything?" And if I answer "yes" to myself, then I become MORE scrutinizing of the product. Then I picture the product on an imaginary, average looking guy and judge whether the product actually stands out or not.



IMO, average looking guys/girls are better product models because using cute/beautiful models just makes the advertisement all the more obvious of its purpose.
