Just opened up my piggy bank (yes, I really do have one) and counted up the money. I've got £147 so far, and there's still a pile of 2p and 1p coins to go. I estimate the total to be about just under £160.

And that's all just loose change that I've been emptying from my pockets every night for the last two years.

April 19 - I place an order for two shirts from DBH with a 25% discount.

May 21 - They send me an automatic email refunding me for one of them, as it's sold out.

May 22 - I email them - they took over a month to tell me it's sold out, and they still charged me shipping for two shirts. AND without so much as an apology or an explanation. Not happy.

May 22 - They refund the cost of shipping. I get a 'Sorry for the inconvenience' email.

June 17 - Yes, two months after I placed the order. Postman leaves me a card telling me to cough up £11.83 for Customs if I want to claim my package. I am confused - I am very careful never to order over $36 (£18) which is the limit set by UK Customs.

June 18 - I go to the post office and find out why. Although they only sent me ONE $18 t-shirt they listed TWO items totalling $42 on the label. I refuse to pay the charge, and it's on its way back to DBH. I have emailed them and am waiting for a reply.

June 19 - Got an email from DBH. They'll resend the item to me once they get it back, via a quicker more trackable method. And they're giving me $20 credit.


THREADLESS

June 2 - I place an order for three shirts.

June 10 - Three shirts arrive.

8 tees from the sale arrived today, and after cramming them into my cupboard, I did a quick count: I have between 70-80 Threadless tees that I've worn just once, maybe twice, and over 25 more that that are completely unworn.

This is on top of the 40+ that I wore regularly back in the early days when I had fewer shirts (and held jobs where I could wear tees to work instead of dress shirts).

I need help.

I'm so happy - I've loved these trainers since 1990. Andre Agassi wore them, and I think they're amazingly beautiful. And today I found out that they've been re-released!

PS best trainers is still the Air Max 95, but they always end up squeaking after a few months.

Grrrr... I've been sent a file in EPS format that I can't open, as it's been created on a newer version of Illustrator than mine (CS2).

Can someone please open it for me, resave it in an older format and then email it back to me?

That's definitely a personal best for me by a long shot and I suspect, not one I'll be breaking for a looong time!
