How far can you push the profanity filter among the wholesome threadless community...?
And I don't mean in the blog context.
I mean in the designs/slogans...

Just wondering, because I've seen some slogans using a lot of cursing and such o.o

most slogans are shit anyway

I think for the most part things that are printed aren't too risque because they have to appeal to a whole spectrum of voters and then pass the critical eye of the threadless staff.

or something like that.

I keep forgetting I have a slogan and then posts like this remind me of it!

It was in response to a girl whose slogans were along the lines of "Stop Talking To Me, You're Stupid" and stuff.

I'm uploading slogans for starters, because I'm away from home and that's all I can do w/o my computer and design programs... Is always interesting to see what people like... Is true, most of the slogans are pretty dumb... I guess I should be addressing a different crowd, a less wholesome one probably!

Does it take more than 50% of votes to get it printed?

I'm not sure... but most slogans do average pretty low scores...

I think I looked, and martian's was like 54 percent. So I'm pretty sure they have to be rather popular to be printed.

Hm. They must have a time limit and then the ones with higher scores get printed...? :/

The sweet art of speculation -.-

Unfortunatly, the Slogan Club is just a peaceful servant to the Threadless Gods who pick whatever slogans please them whenever it hits their fancies. There is no time limit, and most slogans that are picked for printing have at least a 45 percent score. But slogans have been as low s 26% and been printed ("I'm a Noun!" by Slogan Club member Sharlajay) and gone as high as 80% (the haiku tee by...what do you know?...slogan club member Martiandrivein). Come on over to the club tho if you want your slogans to be voted on by more discerning folks than you can find on the usual voting blocks!
