I remember watching fright night as a kid. Not as frightening now but I remember the unbearable fear I felt the first time I saw it at 8.

When I was a kid I was terrified of "The Gate", which is not at all scary as an adult, it is more hillariously bad.

if you liked rosemary's baby you should watch The Tenant! it's by roman polanski also, and part of this loose trilogy based around apartment buildings (rosemary's baby is the newest of the three, the first was called Repulsion)

The Tenant is the best of the three!! so frightening.
