So I have an XS and an XXS Home Is Where The Heart Is, and I'm not sure which one to keep (I was going to return one but now I have various friends who are willing to relieve me of it depending on the size I decide on). Both sort of fit me, but I can't decide whether the slightly looser fit or the tighter one is better, totally ignoring bird colour because it doesn't really bug me either way.

Please excuse the awful lighting and wholly un-glamorous background.

This is the XS, after one wash and tumble dry. The size doesn't seem to have altered much, but it's hard to tell - it was sort of all-right-a-bit-loose before, and it's sort of all-right-a-bit-loose now.

I thought originally this one might be too small, but there is a little bit of room. It hasn't been washed yet, though, and I'm a bit worried it might shrink more than the XS seems to have.

Opinions? Which looks better? I'm normally a girly small but these are unisex fit.

*gets really hung up on unimportant things like this, lol :)*

I think I do, too, I'm just worried it might shrink in the wash.

Do you know anyone who sews? You could keep the XS and get the to take it in a little to make it a perfect fit for you.

Oh, you should wash them both first and then try them on.

I was thinking that - I sew myself - but part of the slightly-too-bigness is that it's too big on the shoulders and I can't figure out how to tailor it there.

Ahhh, I couldn't see that because of your hair. The shoulders are difficult to mess with.

Yep, the hair tends to get in the way of most things ;)

I'm thinking this is a resounding vote for the XXS. I'm going to try cold washing it and pray it doesn't get too much smaller.

Ok... so I'm having the same dilemma. The XXS definitely looks better on you. However, I can't tell if we're the same size or not.

I wear a small in girly tees. I have broad shoulders. I'm a 34B with a 26-27" waist. Think the XXS will fit? Based on the size chart, I thought the XS would be perfect, but seeing it on you looks huge! Thanks for your help!

Sorted it, finally. Washed the XS at 40 degrees and dried on hot, twice, and it's perfect now. Professorbootyxxx (sorry I didn't see your comment before) I reckon you could fit an XXS but you'd need to wash and dry it really really carefully (we're almost exactly the same measurements from what you've said, except I'm a 34A). I found it quite tough to get my arms through once my head was in the neckhole, though...
