Headphones???

OK heeres the script, I wear big meaty technics headphones, there like as big as fuck the other day i was goin to meet my chick at the student union and one of her pals was likev

'WTF is the deal with your hugeheadphones' (i was most annoyed cos hige cans rock)

But anyway i was curious, what does the people on threadless like???

a) Big enormous ear shatteringly large headphones that consumer your face when you wear them...

OR

b) Littel girly rubbish In-Ear efforts that you stick in your lug-holes???

I realise my descriptions are slightly skewed in favour of a, but still, its a questin tht needs answered,

Girly little ones. But then, I have a pair of Schure Ec4s. Those things are amazing, I havent heard big ones that sound NEARLY as good.

i use some in ear headphones when im walking around, but when im in my room or in a car i use my big ass sony MDV-6 stuido headphones.

Earphones are gimp cos they dont sound good and also fal out of my ears too

I wear giant ones at home when I'm listening to music on my computer, and earbuds at school/walking around when I'm listening to my mp3 player. Earbuds that I need to get replaced since one ear just stopped working.. I want some noise-cancelling ones so I can block out loud people.

The earbuds arent worth anything if they arent noise canceling. The old ipod buds sucked, but the new ones are actually pretty good. (For a stock set)

Thats what im talkin bout, pure beasts so they are, i wear em everywhere, in ma bedroom/studio, on the bus, subway street. folks look at me like O_o, everyone loves stupid small headphones,

that said, for In-Ear monitoring these ones are like so awesome

Still tho, theres a kinda comfort in wearin headphones, its like earmuffs,

Also in our particularry chilly winters, they keep me precious ears from freezin up lol

I really prefer big massive ones, but like i gotta research in ear ones for my course, for like on stage feedback mixes and shit, still, if i had my way id make the band wear big ones too, just cos it would be funny, a badn wearin big headphones on stage, totally ignorin the audiece haha

Lol i really should get to bed cos like, i got classes tomorrw and stuff, but since i joined t his site ive lost more sleep than i thought possible.......

pretty good though, i like forums and stuff,

why doesnt they just have a Java chat applet or somethin ti would save so much time ^_^

I think earphones edge out headphones at every price point, especially the Shures and Etymotics. But you have to get a really good seal with them to get any bass.. meaning you won't hear anything in the environment, which can be bad..

There's a $600 pair of Ultimate Ears that requires a trip to the ear doc to get the shape of your ear canal, and they custom make your buds. Intense stuff.

If youre curious about some Schures, go for the "http://macslash.org/article.pl?sid=04/03/10/1216247" Ec2 . 100 bucks, (70ish online). But, if you listen to music with alot of bass, get the Ec3.

I have these shure earphones and I love them. I have the E2C which is the cheapest pair I think, but I only use them for work so they are wonderful.

Kinda off topic but like for cool audio related stuff look on the web at the Audiopad and ReacTable (links below)

its like this really cool new technology thats kinda like, a totally interactive way to make music, my personal facourite is the Audiopad since it seems to function an awful lot like ableton live, but the synth lover in me really loves the reactable cos its just so cool (theres vids for both products)

I have a pair of bang-olfeson(sp) earphones that rock teh pants off most headphones but i do prefer earphones just cause I liek to be able to tuck them into a pocket other wise id rock teh huge ones

Yo ^_^ well im like, an audio engineering student..oooh the excitement lol, nah its pretty cool, a live in the most sunniest shiniest place in the world (NOT) happy Scotland ^_^

Mostly i ilke stuff kinda musical, ambient glitch and the likes.
Also enjoy beer much ^_^
Comedy is like the best thing to watch especially Ross Noble (check out his myspace and youtube hes sooo funny)

Well thats about it i guess, oh yeah i like making music as well, got a small home studio goin on, its pretty good fun ^_^

Oh well, if you read this then, mmmm, you probably feel a bit cheated, like youve just lost 3 precious minutes of your life, maybe less if your a fast reader, O_o who knows...... maybe you didnt even read it at all, and used like narrator to read it to you in a creepy voice while you danced around the room?

Oooops, now i guess thats 4 minutes wasted.....soweeeeeee O_O
