Two separate things in one whole blog

Note One: I've noticed that a lot of people like to talk about food. This observation may seem strange, but, since I'm really self conscious of my weight, I don't usually like to talk about food or meals or whatever. But I've been running errands for my job for the past couple days, and I noticed that someone, at every place I went, was talking about food of some sort. Just something I found interesting.

Note Two: I saw someone signing (sign language) while they were driving. This seemed dangerous and I wonder, if a cop saw them signing with both hands, if they would be pulled over. Just something I pondered deeply about, which caused me to run a red light, and luckily, not get pulled over.

Note one: I like to talk about food a lot. And eat it. I probably shouldn't, though, because I'm trying to get back in shape. Stupid food, being all delicious and whatnot.

I also can't cook, so maybe that has something to do with why I don't like to talk about food much

I love making food! I just wish there was someone else to eat it sometimes. I want to make a cake soooooo badly, but I don't want to eat it.

My mum signs to my grandma when she's driving. However, there are ways to modify signs so they can be done with one hand. And most deaf people are really good at figuring out what you mean, even if you spell something wrong or modify a sign.

Mya, that makes sense. I was never good at the modified signs, nor spelling, nor anything sign language related.

I went to a theme park a couple of days ago, as we were about to leave a woman collapsed on the floor next to us, her husband was putting money in the vending machine, the staff and our groups were worried sick, the staff put in a call for an ambulance and all we could do was watch and hope she was going to be ok.

Her kids called over to their dad and said "its happened again", her dad continued to put money in the vending machine, getting his parking token.

A few minutes later the woman woke up, turns out the woman had narcolepsy, she falls a sleep at random it just so happened that this time it was at the exit to a theme park.

hi, sarah! I miss you. I hope you're well and that there's some way you can get to Chicago because I want to see you and you should really meet everyone!

I love talking about food, because food is great and it's a big part of the day and it's interesting to learn about food, and you can talk about food and think about food and not even have to be eating it.

but what really weirds me out is that you can buy food absolutely everywhere. why should they sell food at home depot? why do you need to eat while at target? I don't get this.

I'm debating taking ASL I at school for language, but then I'd also need to take ASL II to satisfy the language req, or just take Spanish II since I already took Spanish. Not sure whether to do what's easier & more efficient or what's probably interesting and new.

I too like food. In Utah, people like food, but it's usually top-quality establishments like Applebees and Little Cesars (which are good, I eat there too) but people don't usually know GREAT food in my opinion, you know.
It's fun to talk with people that actually know real good food.

well here on chile (latin america) people do talk a lot about food... but the last years its about thaking care about what they eat, healty is the new trend :P

Clavediseno, I've often heard that many people from Latin and South America are big into food talk, though I have noticed that a lot of places are now becoming more conscious of healthy habits and choices, which is now becoming a big topic of discussion.
