Quick Question

If you are punctuating a poem,

can you use commas and not periods?

or if you put commas in, do you have to have periods as well?

What hero said.
Some use the end of the line as a "stop," rather than a period or whatever. Most poems, though, end with a period [from what I have seen].

Oh yea, I guess that makes sense.

I just don't want periods in there, but it only makes sense if there are pause markers, but then it looks weird with only commas scattered about.

just put whatever you want, futurists replaced regular punctuation with musical signs (is it signs?)

and a while ago i wrote a short story with no punctuation at all, except for the final period

I think I know what you mean. Don't worry about it, haha. English is my first language and I still can't think of the right words sometimes, lol
