So my 6 shirts arrived today and they look phenomenal! The new packaging is cool and the shirts looked fantastic. There was just one thing missing and it made my heart sink....
There weren't any threadless stickers!! I love those damn stickers, my room and laptop are covered in them! I was looking forward to getting more! This is a dark day. I feel as sad as that little frowning cart in the top right corner.
Going above and beyond once again. Server screw-ups are common on other sites, but for you guys to make the effort to make sure that all your regular customers don't feel cheated is awesome.
That being said, I missed out on the extra five bucks off =( lol.
I had my credit card out on Sunday. Ready to type in the numbers to purchase 4 shirts. The reprinting of Stabby McKnife and 'Listen to Bands' had me ready to fire. But I thought, why not wait? Electric Jellyfish wasn't going anywhere. And $20 for "I love the eighteen 80's" was a bit much. So I waited and BAM!
I LOVE THREADLESS!
Can we agree that the shirts that threadless came out with during the sale were mostly disappointing or was it just me? I was really excited to buy some tees but I ended up only getting one that was out before the sale (Adultery). The reprinted shirts were what was the most disappointing for me, as there are so many shirts I love that are out of print, yet we ended up getting "emotional trip", "everybody poops", and (worst of all) "i luv you cpu'...
sigh...
Or is it just me...
Why do so many institutions believe in bullshit standardized testing? How can people focus a month in advance of anything? I certainly can't. I've just been cruising Threadless to avoid studying for the MCATs, but I feel like I'm so behind... It's a dangerous cycle that I have no idea how to get out of... I know I have to focus but I can't bring myself to do it. All this material, it just sucks the life out of me...
You know what happens when you search MCAT on threadless? The only thing that comes up is the word "Dreamcatcher". If only life were like threadless.

Is it just me or has this sale been a bit disappointing in terms of the ratio of manly, red-meat-like shirts to girly, flowery shirts.
Honestly though, besides DEATH and SPOILT (which I think was before the sale), I don't see much in the way of designs that cater more to guys. It doesn't make any sense either because those tend to sell out so much more quickly (Re: Biggie was right?). What's the deal? |
