Any suggestions on what to use for shoe art? Will Sharpies do or is there something better for drawing on shoe leather?

My first design got rejected because it was too big. I wanted to submit it for the parapa contest. If I resize it and upload it tonight, am I too late?

I'm waiting for my Parapa contest entry to be approved. Hopefully I made it time for the deadline. Other than that, just checking out everyone else's work. Lots of great stuff around here.
