Ok I've just had another 2 submissions declined for the reason of being rejected by the initial panel of judges.

Well that seems like a rather blinkered view? I am none of those things and I have tribal, and I have sold a ton of shirts with other companies that do a load of tribal designs.

yes, but i've never seen a tribal shirt go through well on here. then again i've only been here a couple months, and then again i've scored a buttload of subs...

I kinda like the 1st one, ostly for the mesmerizing effect of the lines inside, don't know if it's really Threadless' bag , though.

they are cool designs but yeah take a look at what theyve printed and youll see how it doesnt quite match up

well I was trying to do something different rather than just copying what every other person does, but obviously that doesn't go down well with the judges?

Well it's different from what Threadless usually prints but unfortunately it's not really different since tribal is very overdone with pretty much any surf brand.

fair comment. and also with goth/metal clothing companies which is the sort of company I normally design for, and get paid for it.!
