So I have an idea right now that I'm slowly (ok not that slowly) fleshing out on the computer right now during my long periods of procrastination. And it seems like the best thing would be to do a wrap-around design, but I'm not sure if Threadless will accept designs that are printed over side seams.

I've heard people have gotten designs rejected because of it. Yet I'm pretty sure I've seen winning designs that do that...can anyone clear up the confusion for me? Thanks!

ps. I noticed the lack of purple tees so I'm working with purple color schemes right now (though other colors work too). Check back for a critique coming soon! I mean, if that side seam thing works out.

Nice design, but the wrap around part you're talking about is basically just a line, right? So if the side seams interrupt it, it's still ok.

In my design the part on the seam is going to be basically a patterned curvy...thing. Not integral to the design, but still. I'm kind of afraid it won't be well received because the continuous picture will basically get cut in half.

Now upon closer examination of my Spoilt tee I see that my mind has been prejudiced to think that all tees have seams on the side. Thanks KBShakedown!

Some things to take into account.

The extreme we can print is around a 15 x 18 inch area. So that means we can only do a 15" wrap. The design can't go any higher than the bottom of the sleeve because the squeegees can't go over the sleeve smoothly to make the print.

Some girly tees randomly have side seams but don't worry about it.

=) thanks shimala. I've kept that in mind...so here it is: http://www.threadless.com/critique/6067/Zoomorphism

The snake shouldn't be more than 15x18 I think...though the diagram with design placement on the shirts isn't to scale. I've always been horrible with technical to-scale things.

All about me

I adore sea hares. I love windy days, sunflowers, and ketchup. I have trouble writing bios about myself.

In short, a total weirdo.

That's really about it.
