Why 1975?
Tom Burns shirts are soooo great! I have a major tshirt fetish, and after buying A Cute Invasion, I thought I'd look at some more of Tom's designs. They are soooo oexcellent. I love the image on this one - the cunningly hidden femme in the centre is awesome. And, secondly, I was born in 1975.

So, Tom, if you happen to read this - why is it called 1975???

You rock.

This shirt looks great in sagestone, too. Excellent choice of reprint! I'll have to buy it... if only I can find a spare fifteen bucks...

It does have a seventies feel to it, but then it would probably be called 1970s. It kind of looks like paisley, but not quite...

there is a lady's face in it, looking to the left as you look at the shirt. there is a dark part in the empty space in the middle of the design that points downwards. It is the shadow under her eye... Tom has now placed an explanation of this on the shirt's page which explains everything!
