Yeah, pink might be appropriate, but I wanted the text to be in a color that's closer in value to the shirt color. Just to help the contrast of the line work, if that makes sense. I tried using something lighter (i.e. pink) but it looked funky.

maybe try a cooler red then..

but really the red you have is fine.. Im just saying since everything emo i see is usually black and HOT pink.

i dont know if it was intentional or not but the placement of the 'a' sort of creates an eye under the beasts hair.

I'll go with the first one, stick with the black and red, it really goes with the emo theme, pink is too bright for emo

I think I might do the black one as the larger part of the sub and then have an option for blue. Randy made a good point that the yellow one is reminiscent of Lions Are Smarter...

thats cool then:D i like the blue one though it makes the animals look more transparent rather than just sitting on top of the words. its nice.

Nice, that blue is going to go all the way. If it gets printed, it's because it's awesome AND you put the blue one on there. This sub totally reminds me of a design I did for my buddy's one man band a few months ago, big time.
Awesome style, I'm going to give it a $5.

I like lots of music, but The Smiths are the best. I eat too many bean & cheese burritos. I get carded all of the time, sometimes for rated R movies. I probably spend too much money on good wine and chocolate. I would rather watch cartoons than sit through a ceremony of any sort.
