...Or does the long-sleeve tee she's wearing look more "cream" than "silver"? It can't have been so long since I saw a silver Threadless tee that that crappy color is actually starting to look decent to me, can it? Is there any possibility they've listed the wrong color?
about Deerie
I was hoping this would be reprinted for the Holiday Sale. Then I was hoping it would be reprinted for my birthday in January. Then I was hoping it would be reprinted as a really nice surprise on the last day of the Spring Broke Sale. But now, in a stroke of insomnia-fueled inspiration, I suddenly understand the plan over at Threadless!

You guys are really just waiting to reprint it for May Day!!! Of course! In your marketing genius, you understand that this is the PERFECT shirt to reprint for that groovy/Celtic/Pagan/tree-hugger holiday of holidays. And April 30, the day before May Day...wait for it...is a Monday! I bow my head in shame at not having seen it before now. Plus that makes it easier to count my money in anticipation of being able to spend it on Deerie.

Seriously, guys, how many times do we all have to hit that friggin' "reprint" button!?

Just kidding. :D

Not really.

It seems American Apparel's quality control issues (namely, there is NO control) have bitten me in the ass. My much anticipated "XS" hoodie arrived today, and was waaaay too small. Suspicious, I yanked it back off and measured it. It's the right length, but a full 2 1/4" narrower than it should be. Which makes it a full size smaller than it should be. I'm deeply pissed off, and now I'm not sure if I even want to try for a different XS in the hopes that it was just this one. But if I do, I'll just have to buy that one outright (and fast), rather than exchange, because there are so few left. GRRRRR!

In the meantime, though, since I know how hard it can be for people who wear very small sizes (I used to be one, 'til my metabolism gave me the finger when I turned 30) to find the stuff they like, my misfortune can be someone else's gain. :) I'm going to wait a couple days to return this one in case anyone specifically needs what would be an XXS for themselves, or a kid, or something. It's 16" wide just under the arms, and 24 1/2" long. Let me know! Otherwise, I'm mailing it back to Threadless next week.

Um, what does it actually look like? There aren't any pics :(
Anybody have experience with deliberate or not-so-deliberate Threadless laundry shrinking? I desperately want this in the guys' color, because the silver/gray is HIDEOUS (I bought it in Emotional Trip, and never again), but I'm a girly small, so even the guys small will be way too big. I'm reconciled to taking in the sides, sleeves, and hem a little - guess I'll be remaking the entire damn shirt *grrr* - but I'm wondering if it might be a good or bad idea to deliberately try to shrink it first in the wash, so the alterations don't have to be too drastic. Any thoughts?
they reprinted this using glow-in-the-dark ink?
