When is the moment...
...to push a critique into the running? I feel that if I'm not popular in the "critiques" section, my submission would be ignored by everyone.

Lack of selfsteem? Maybe! :-D

The critiques don't get a lot of attention anyways. Just put it through as a submission when you're happy with it.

what you can do is post a blog and put WIP somewhere in the name, that normally gets more attention than the critiques

ive had some problems in the critique section too, i found it really unhelpful, ill think ill use the tip given here too lol
