So the original version of this design got rejected, because the characters were too close to the originals. Then I redrew and recoloured it, and decided that the characters were probably still too close. So I decided to have one more crack at it. This version- and finally it's accepted! Thanks for all the help and suggestions in the various blogs I made about it. You guys are neat.
