I just bought a Digi SLR Camera! Photos within.

I just bought myself a Canon EOS 400D. It's pretty rad, i've been saving up for a while to get it. Now I just have to get used to it, and get better at using the manual functions. The auto stuff is handy, but I don't want to have to rely on it for good photos all the time.

I'm so excited! Woo!

Yeah, that's def. one of the things I need to learn about Steve. I don't really understand the difference between RAW and Jpeg yet.

jpeg = compression

Raw = no compression.

I accidently ate a raw piece in vietnam once. I didn't know that the hot plates were still coming. It was scary in a sort of silent kind of way.

RAW is like all the data from the sensor without any sort of interpretation.

Thanks Steve, obviously raw is the way to go, considering my masterful photoshop prowess :)

I'm planning on going out 'shootin' with my cousin sometime. He's only 15, but he's already produced a book of photography and is selling it through bookshops in our city.
