Help me find more illustrations in this style!!!

I've been experimenting lately with different styles and came up with my latest sub...

The Owlman Moves To Midnight Music - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

I've been trying to do more like it, but nothing quites hits it like the owlman, so I'm trying to find more artists with similar textured styles to get a bit of inspiration.

Some one mentioned Eric Carle and The Very Hungry Caterpiller, which i'd totally forgotten about and I found this guy a while back who's become one of my most inspirational artists i've found... Jon Klassen.

oh man, that Job Klasen pic you posted is great!

i acn't think of anyone with a similar style but i like this guy's textures, check the earth section

but perhaps the style is not so much of your liking

how about dave mckean - I mean he goes far beyond this - but he was doing it long long ago - and he is the master of multimedia

There's also Niklas Sundin , he does mainly cd artwork (he's a fucking great guitarrist as well), but maybe you'll fins something that you like in his non-comissioned portfolio section

I have his hardback book cages - it is CRAZY

signal to noise is my favorite book of his

woah! Those are both great Mr. Hornblower. I remember seeing Steve Macks stuff before, but i'd never seen Clay Sisk's work. He's got some amazing stuff!

yeah your new sub is looking hot.

i've been fooling around with textures in my latest sub too. Now that threadless can print this stuff it really opens up a lot of possibilities. I've always enjoyed textured work and it's cool we can bring that here. Once i get some more free time (and some decent IDEAS) i'm gonna play around with some subs a bit more.

Thanks jublin! I love using textures, I think i've become a bit of an addict! I can't help but notice textures that'd look cool in art everywhere.
