I just bought myself a Canon EOS 400D. It's pretty rad, i've been saving up for a while to get it. Now I just have to get used to it, and get better at using the manual functions. The auto stuff is handy, but I don't want to have to rely on it for good photos all the time.

I'm so excited! Woo!

I've been experimenting lately with different styles and came up with my latest sub...


I've been trying to do more like it, but nothing quites hits it like the owlman, so I'm trying to find more artists with similar textured styles to get a bit of inspiration.

Some one mentioned Eric Carle and The Very Hungry Caterpiller, which i'd totally forgotten about and I found this guy a while back who's become one of my most inspirational artists i've found... Jon Klassen.

So, I joined JPG Magazine and uploaded some photos. At the moment i've got a single in the 'Fresh' competition and a photo essay with pictures of kids from an orphanage in Cambodia where I stayed for a couple of weeks. I'm planning on uploading further photo essays from my Cambodia/Vietnam trip soon.
