about Rorschach Hits the Disco
Okay, so I'm relatively new to threadless, but not to art. Months ago, before I was aware of threadless, I did a series of Faux-Rorshach inkblot designs inspired by the gnarls barkley crazy music video (one of my favorites). I even won a poster design contest for Gnarls Barkley, which i entered at the urging of my friends. Now fast forward six months. I join threadless, and after a couple of designs, i decide to reimagine my Ink Blot designs (to out of several, only one has gone up so far) into tee shirts, because they had done well in my other galleries. I put it up, and every other person starts bringing up this design, Rorschach Hits the Disco. someone finally gave me a link to it, and i have to say i love the design, i hope they reprint it, because i'd love to own it. But besides being symmetrical, and using a play on Rorschachs, I don't actually think they are that similar, because mine is a grayscale design that aims to masquerade as a real rorshach, and Rorschach hits the Disco does not. am i wrong?here are my two designs: ![]() and a larger resolution of the ink blot here: TESTA23: B4M-8Y-3P0C4LYP5E and the other design
