So, one of the jobs that I had applied for like two months ago unexpectedly called me back at the beginning of the month and I got the "Okay, you're hired!" last week. Yay! Relocation!

I'm not really quitting my job I have now... my boss and I are going to try to have me do the same work while freelancing from home. Anyone have any experience with doing something like this? I hope I don't screw this up.

Also, I've never worked for a big company before... at least not since my days at The Cookie Store (first job ever). I'm scared. :( I'm so not a talkative gossipy LET'S BE FRIENDS type of person.

Bigger!

I was thinking the other day about the stuff I've learned since I've joined Threadless. Or rather, since I have become a regular, which was about a year ago. I think too much while, I'm driving.

The things that I've noticed.
- I appreciate a much wider variety of art.
- My art skills have improved, even though I don't sub too terribly often.
- My music tastes have broadened.
- I can take a joke on the internets without getting all "OMGOMGOMGOMGD:"

What about you guys?

So a friend has a client that needs some graphic work done and I'm on it! But he needs custom borders and buttons for a website and I have no clue what to charge for something like that. Anybody have experience with pricing this kind of stuff? I could use some suggestions.

I do, for reals. :) Here's my WIP. This is an idea I've had for ages, but decided to do it in a cute style kinda spur of the moment. I'm tired of doing serious illos, so here's something adorable. My guy helped with re-conceptualizing the idea so it's like a mini collab. :D

I'm a huge D&D nerd so this is inspired by that. :D
