permission for pictures?
A design i have submitted has been declined because I have no permission for using the pictures, but it had the pictures of the models from American Apparel, and I always used them and never had a problem...I thought everyone used them. Has tehr been a change in the rules that I missed?

it's a new rule... it doesn't just apply to photos from AA, it's for all photos. If you don't have permission to use the image you can't use it.

can we use our own photos? how will those who filter the sumbissions distinguish them?

yes, you can... I'm sure a few will slip by but we should be able to tell the difference between your own photo and something from a site like AA
