"The second acceptable new shirt is Threadless. This Chicago-based company produces artistic and funny t-shirts that are acceptable for concerts, Whole Foods and 80s night. White people like these shirts so much because they are designed by white people, for white people. Sort of like a white FUBU."

Threadless Chicago was featured on local news program "190 North" last night!

Opening party on Friday, February 1st from 7pm-9pm The Work of Nigel Evan Dennis (aka Electric Heat) Threadless Chicago Gallery For our second show in our new gallery, we're featuring the work of 25-year-old Chicago artist Nigel Dennis. In his short career, he's already garnered international praise and has gained an international client list including MTV, Pepsi, Jeep, Burton, Sony Music and of course Threadless! Nigel's work jumps from photography, to typography and hand drawn illustrations. We are excited to share with you some of his greatest hits as well as some brand new work made for our gallery. The name of his show is "TEETH, DIAMONDS, GHOSTS and OTHER CRAFTS" and it's sure to blow your collective minds. Opening reception is Friday February 1st, and Nigel will be on hand. we will be featuring delicious refreshments (and by refreshments i mean dogs and fries) from our new favorite, FLUB A DUB CHUB'S!
i'm usually a big fan of the 3 o'clock shakedown, promptly at 3:00 pm during the workday, but right now i am SO HUNGRY that i'm eating me a snackski. that's polish for snack. anyone else?
COME SEE US! we had an awesome and crazy day yesterday and are hoping it stays that way all week. thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday to buy shirts, check out the space and even WAIT IN LINE just to get in! y'all are kick-ass.
hey y'all. i just wanted to post about hoody sizes, because even working at threadless, i got confused, so i wanted to make sure you all were clear!
we have made the switch to the new hoodies which are sized THE SAME AS AA hoodies. sometimes we'll continue to use AA for zip-ups or other products, but the sizing remains consistent. the living in harmony hoody for whatever reason, got printed on AA hoodies and we weren't able to get XS hoodies printed this round. in the future, we'll continue to have XS-XXL.
Who would you cast to play each member of the threadless staff?

"i wrote a hit play and directed it."
i'm trying not to stutter in interviews. all my girlfriends moved away (and now they're moving back). i hang out with the boys too much. whiskey is the new communion, but i haven't been to church in a while. officially-unofficial bands i'm in include, but are not limited to: HOT COPS, SKULL TOOTH, BEAR CUB and the hardcore hit band, A MAN APART. don't miss out our hit karaoke version of michael jackson's "i wanna mosh with you." coming to a wedding near you... i'm way into heists and robberies, sneakery and corporate espionage. did anyone see my binocs? i have some talent along the lines of spying, snooping and making master plans, but feel like rather than using this against people i should put it towards the "greater good," which is why i'm considering the life of a secret agent, or PI if you will... maybe this is why i like a good mustache... also i love silencers. if i had a gun, you can bet it would have a silencer. but the only gun i have is a nerf gun and you can bet it's got a laser-sight on it. i'm having a love affair with with my friends, especially the long-distant kind... i guess the internet isn't that long distance, is it? THINGS I BE HATIN': bad attitudes (present company included), unnecessary violence, magic (as in top hats), wine rituals, that horrible television show becker, puking, single-family-million-dollar-homes on my block (who's living there anyways?), general douche-baggery. THINGS I AM LOVING: PIZZA, my husband, bloc party (so i'm a little late), curbyourenthusiasm (just in time), babies having babies, "the kids" (one can say "i LUH DA KIDS"), let's be active, the milwaukee art museum, HSCO-love, catching the bad-boys birthday line on WGCI, handstands, goggles, holding my ears instead of using earplugs, sweet rides, fireworks (the monky driving kind), skateboarding, NEW AMERICA, charles barkley for president, being a good auntie, impressing you with my muscles, glenn danzig, and working for threadless! |
