Agghhh frustration
So my new version of this scored like shit, which made me want to continue to attempt remaking the original. I managed to grab the girl I used off of my old broken digital camera, thank god, but there are seventy bajillion tree pictures in the world so naturally I can't find the original one I used, so I've been trying brushes. This it how it looks so far, new on top and original on bottom:



Does it look crappy? Should I leave it as-is? I'm really frustrated with it.

it looks fine, but why are you doing another remake? why not just move on to a different idea?

I think it looks like you've improved the original. I like that the comet isn't hidden behind the trees.

Okay, that's pretty reassuring. I feel like I'm so biased towards the original design that I'm nervous about this one not being exactly like it.

Oh okay, I see now. Though I can see why. I really like the old one better. Just has better composition, I think. :)

i think it's a good idea to stop working on it now
