Hey, i know i have pissed a number of you off by submitting an altered design of a shirt already on the market. If you didn't know, that was 'my face before surgery' so feel free to slate that one because changing designs is not the way i usually come up with my ideas. I knew it would probably be viewed as plagiarism but my intent was to improve the design and so i tried to make as many changes as possible. Knowing with hindsight that this is still wrong i apologise to everyone on threadless and hope that this wont put a dampner on how you view the rest of my future designs.
If you can accept this i would love you to give me some comments on my newest sub called 'more powerful than the real'. For the first time in my designs i was really concerned with how the design would look on the shirt so i hope this is noticeable to you guys. I have used different colours and halftone patterns to try and create gradients in places on this monotone style. The composition was created from an old 'mock' fashion shoot photo i took last year using my friends as models. I felt that even though i was just trying to show of the clothes at the time, there was also something more powerful in the image. I worked on this in a new style to me and used a combination of high contrast and vibrant colour to give across my idea. Link to the new submission: ![]() ...Tell me what you think but please be gentle! Jay btw, check out my blogs to see the other photos from this shoot. Thanks You must be logged in to leave a comment.
