i can't seem to figure out why all the girls' tees have to be printed on different colored shirts. most of the time, the colors look way worse. c'mon. gold? what is THAT? maybe it's just bad for my skin tone.

and this one.....i really like the design, but the fucking purple version just doesn't do it justice. i'm not sure why.

LIKING TAPERED SHIRTS SHOULDN'T MEAN THAT I HAVE TO WEAR UGLY, WATERED-DOWN VERSIONS OF THE DESIGNS I LIKE.

sexist bastards.

?

The design you reference is printed on purple, which I think would look pretty sweet...

It's different so a couple of people can wear the same design but not the same shirt.

Spice is the variety of life, right?

I guess not enough girls feel the same way you do.

I tend to agree ... but that's just me.

I like purple.

if you have a problem, don't buy it, it's pretty simple...

it's not that i dislike purple. it's that when i see a design that i like, i also take into consideration the color. so if the girl's version is a different color, it might not have the same effect on me. that's all i meant.

i think alternate colors should be optional.

the girly shirts that i WANT to buy (that have the same colors as the guys') are out of stock. wonder why....

sometimes, i feel that my rights are being revoked as a result of my gender.

Oh, and alot of the time, they have good colors for female shirts...that I want.

take for instance Monday, the mens version is on Khaki, LAME.

and the Luchadore shirt with El Gran Hermano etc.

I liked the girls color more.

I bought this shirt and was a little disappointed in the purple until I saw it. The pictures don't do the purple justice.

I agree with sizzlefaerie We need choices in what colors we want. The purple is cool, but the dark gray suits the mood more. Why Threadless, why????

Girls shirts are AA, guys shirts are not usually. I think even within the same brand the colour choices differ. After threadless make their own t's the colours will be the same.

Not necessarily, they could easily have printed this shirt on AA dark grey. Not all disparities in colour are due to the different shirt companies, sometimes they're just aesthetic choices Threadless makes (e.g. the pink/blue of Cookie Loves Milk) with which we can only agree or disagree. I generally prefer the guys' colours, but that's just life sometimes.

I wear a lot of guys' shirts, so I'm mainly just annoyed that the men's version is out of stock. But, yeah, it'd be nice if they got rid of the purple (which I don't think looks bad, exactly, but it doesn't suit the original design). Or offered it in two colors for both sexes.
