I think as long as they don't change opacity and stay flat 100% color all the time you should be good

Yes, I would assume so. Just make sure it doesn't look obvious because those of us that would recognize them....

True true, but they're not things that you made, you know? For example, if you use one with animals, I don't know if it's okay since it's not "originally" your creation.

Olie!-They can print halftones now so 100% opacity shouldn't even be a big deal.

ahh. . . . I would think it would be fine according to the rules. I don't know how good it would look design-wise, but I don't think it would break any rules.

Probably that also depends on how the design will be printed. If you are separating color layers what Ollie said is true. I think if you are doing a design for simulated process, you can do it however the heck you want, they just need a single high res file flattened.

fat pigeon -- yeah but gradients aren't halftones are they? I mean if you wanted halftones you would have to make them yourself I thought. . . ?

arent they copyrighted?

please don't use the animals or leaf brushes. They are copyright free so you should be the same - just like if you use stock photography in some way, they just need to make sure it's copyright free.
