UNICORNZ resub!! (up for voting)

well, this is my first resub. i normally wouldn't consider reworking an old idea but i really wanted to give this one another shot. i really just redid some coloring and enlarged the image slightly on the shirt. i think the newer version captures the mood of the design as i had originally intended it much more successfully. i hope people enjoy the new version!!

i linked the old and new versions for comparison. just in case anyone is interested and doesn't want to take the time to search the old out from my list of submissions.

I love them both, I prefer the old one, though. But I understand the new one has more impact.

i think when i first submitted this i had a similar second option that i asked people about and most preferred the version that i originally submitted. so i'm not sure how this one will be received when entering the voting process but i really want to give it a chance.

i really dig the characters on the old one, they seem to get lost in the new one.. but I still like the new one. just not necessarily better.
the new one is much crisper though, so thats a definite better aspect.

thanks danielle. what i think the new gives is exactly what you said, a crisper design. i also really enjoy the anonymity that the ghoul-like characters have in the new one. however, the detail that does get lost in the drawing is the reason i originally went with the old version. i guess we'll see what happens but i hope the new one is received as well as the old!

Awesome! I love both versions. The new colors seem more "shirt friendly" methinks... the old version seems better as a poster print. Maybe Threadless will print it as a shirt AND a poster :-)
