15 SUBS IN MAY!!! It's Over and i FAILED!! (6 of 15 done)

so i did this last october and it really got me going on subs! since i'm in a funk i'm just going to force myself to do work!! my goal is to do 15 subs this month! since it's already the 5th i am really going to have to get going! join me if you dare!!

well, May is over and i only managed to get 6 subs done. i've failed at reaching my goal but i feel very good about the 6 subs that i did get done. plus i think i've got myself back into subbing again!! great job by all the other people who jumped aboard for this!! i hope you all keep it up even as may comes to a close!! :)

I'll try to get on board of the submission train, not 15 but hopefully 10, hope school allows me. They'll have to be more random than my usual so i can try and reach 10, should be a fun experiment, just 7 more to go!

And I gotta say I'm really pissed off by Blue Eyes' score, fucking votards are getting really annoying, hope it still gets printed though.

thanks guys! :) i definitely hoped for a higher score (as we all do) but above a 2 is fine. they print a lot of stuff in that range nowadays so who knows! hopefully i will have another new one up tonight!! yay!!

There's no question that his speed isn't compromising his quality. I personally find that all five of his submission are great, he's just lucky that he can work fast without having to hinder his visuals.

And less quantity doesn't necessarily equal more quality, and besides, at least in my case, working on quicker subs gives me the chance to experiment a bit with different styles and things I want to incorporate, and that's always a good thing.

thanks guys. i really feel like i'm not losing the quality of my subs because that would definitely defeat the purpose of doing this. in fact, i think there are quite a few very quality, and more impressive, subs from people trying to do this other than me.

I just scored a 2.46 on "It's so simple" (my highest score yet) so I'm really happy with this idea of 15 subs for the month. I think I just used this as a way to push me to work more instead of just sittin around. And sure, all my subs haven't scored well, but I feel if I learn something new from every sub I make then who cares if it scores a 1.5.

I have utterly failed man! Fucking school didnt even allow me to finish 7, still 6 is the most I've subbed in a month. Thanks for the challenge, it sure got me to try out fun stuff.

And great 6th one, I would just like to see a lower placement option

Don't worry, I too failed but I managed to do half of my goal and was glad to get some good scores as well. I hope I can still come up with a few more designs this month. Let see whats next. Thanks for this idea. Wouldn't have done it otherwise.
