I really wish there was a female version of this shirt, complete with ponytails and a ladies restroom symbol. The design is great and all, and I could totally justify spending the money if I was a guy. But I'm not.

I seriously don't think it matters.

That's just saying you can never buy a shirt because it has a man on it. The shirt does not have to declare your sex; it's only a joke.

Anyway, people often think of athletes as men more often than women, since female athletes were not around for so long. Yes, you can argue "But we should try to change that! Promote equality!" but the fact is that very few other people will think about it to the extent you did.

I'm a girl, and I've loved this since I first saw the design. I will be buying it and wearing it proudly! To me, the gender doesn't make any difference. The message behind is universally hilarious.

It's not that I don't buy shirts with guys on it. It's that I'm a runner (sometimes) who comes from a family of runners, and therefore I do identify with this shirt in a way that is more than just "funny." Fabric paint is a good idea, but I'm too broke anyways.

you could make one with guys and girls and have a pic of a toilet instead of a mens bathroom sign or have the signs with a guy and a girl like on those "family" bathrooms
