What I learned (and didn't) in Chicago. (now with pics)

I learned that...

- walking in on a large group of people you've never met is nbd when you're all wearing plaid...

- there are multiple varieties of boomerangs

- a sandwich is alway named after the meat

- a pizza tastes better when you share it with people from 3 different english speaking nations, while you compare currency

- if you grab the check when you're out eating with 30+ people, you will end being the one to sort it all out

- Alvin looks good in any shirt, but especially one's with large collars

- Kayce is ALWAYS wearing plaid

- bright green corduroy pants go great with a navy blue blazer

- some Marriotts are swankier than others, but the staff will know where the other one is

- Spacemitch smells like clementines and freshly mowed grass

- Liz's mutant power is ability to fall asleep in a loud over crowded hotel room, in the middle of the day

- Key Lime Soda exists

- when you see something tasty in a jar ask about it, or you'll miss out on some good shit

- PhifferAdam and Torasteve are tall!!

- FreakinEvan is just as witty in person

- Pasta on pizza is as awesome as I always expected

- all of Kristen's favorite photoshop tools

- S'More pizza tastes like shit cold

- black magic marker washes of Filipino skin really easily

- iDan is alive

- the warehouse guys are just how I pictured them

I did not learn...

- how to deal with the multiple levels of downtown Chicago when using a GPS

- what the hell was in the that awesome green dip at BRC show at the Threadless store
