yeah, it's certainly sad, the idea of false hope. however... it's necessary and wonderful too. i would much rather hope in vain than lose hope altogether. miracles don't happen if you don't believe in them! :)

and thanks to everyone who voted/enjoys/converses about my shirt! i'm psyched to have a winning design, and i'm glad it provokes something, even if it's just sadness.

This one made me sad. Like tear worthy sad. Even though I hate chickens and believe they should be eaten, this made me sad.

Actually, the eggs are fine and all is well. This chicken found the perfect nest to keep her eggs organized. They'll soon hatch in a well ordered hen house due in part to supurb modern camouflage.

Although this is a completely noble idea, I don't believe, or rather, I can't make myself believe this.
