Slogans

As i go through rating the slogans, I've come to realize that its more of a spam board than anything else. Whats with all the offensive things going on there? Some of them are clever, but others are just... unoriginal and I've seen it somewhere before Lol.

Oh well, I shouldn't expect too much of a now slogan spam board.

Though, I guess if you really wanted to, you can chat to others on it... ... ..

Yeah... from time to time it becomes a spam board... but there are lot of Threadies here that have good slogans... you just have to find em... esp in the blogs... [nintechno, Larlar, swintpoof, martiandrivein, and MANY many many more...]

I kinda do the same thing martiandrivein. I'll think of things in my spare time and just keep going, writing them down and such until I come up with one I'm pretty sure people will like.

I agree with martiandrivein. When I first entered Threadless, I entered as many slogans as I can... and yes.. most of them suck... My chance of getting a high scoring slogan was like.. 1 out of 100. It's so hard to filter out the good ones... and I also have difficulty capturing the humor of the west.

So the tip is... just submit and submit, until you harvest that blockbuster slogan... but do clean your slogan page once you see that a slogan has a low score, so people won't have a hard time finding your gems.

well, maybe not just quantity, but let people vote...like 20 or so. if it's a low percentage, ditch it then and there...and try a new route. I wouldn't just leave em up, if no one likes em. If people like it, they'll like it right away or never
