When I was little, my grandmother got me this huge doll house that my mom had decorated (with wallpaper and carpet samples!). It was awesome, and now one of my cousins has it. I miss it sometimes. Haha.

What have you gotten that was incredibly awesome?!

My friend recorded a CD all about me and a few of my friends, and made a CD cover of a fat guy dressed like Spider-man with a fanny pack. It was hilarious. It had a story read by him pretending to be Stan Lee, this weird song he made using angy accents about abstinence, him parodying my least favorite band, and then songs about how awesome we are.

It was fantastic.

SIMPLE! My friends made me a CD last year, too! One of them is a "serious band producer" and has a recording studio. They all got drunk and did karaoke style songs I love! Then they mixed it and made a hilarious cover. One of them (a dude) pretended to be Bea Arthur and prank called our other friend who lived out of town and recorded it also on the CD.

My friend MW did the best Danzig "Mother" while my BFF did the worst Verve "The Drugs Don't Work".

My friends bought me really expensive fountain pens for my birthday two years ago. It sort of symbolized their belief and support in my endeavors.

When I was wee, my grandma brought from Kennedy Space Center all sortsa cool shit, like Buzz Aldrin (or Louis Armstrong) Gemini astronaut doll and a nifty cake plate with all the Apollo emblems (even the Tom Hanks one!).

I was soo heppy.

I mauled the doll, but I still have the plate. It's somekinda spaceplastic that cannot be destroyed by kiddies.

They should use that shit to protect the space shuttles from exployding in the atmosphere.

I was pretty happy with my acoustic guitar. My parents knew the package would be a dead giveaway so instead wrapped up a note that said, "look in the closet" and there it was!

my sister (who is 7 years older) gave me a stuffed cat when I was very young... it was my favorite stuffed animal all through my childhood and a reminder that even if she mostly hated me she still liked me on the inside :)

my favorite trick was my parents bought my brother and I a Nintendo 64, and they couldn't wait till Christmas to give it to me so they hid it in my room.

That way if I listened to them and cleaned my room top to bottom, I could get it early, if not we'd get it on Christmas.

We got it on Christmas.
