I've just ordered this most excellent shirt that I have been coveting for several weeks. Now all I must do is wait for a few weeks until it arrives. There are definitely advantages to ordering from American companies for the British online shopper. The exchange rate means that everything is a bargain! You do, however, have to wait agonisingly long for everything, and when it's an item as cool as this then it's like torture.
I'll be camping out by the letter box for the next couple of weeks.
I recently bought this shirt for a male friend of mine for his 18th birthday. He's an active online RPG player so he spends the majority of his life on World of Warcraft or Day of Defeat. Being a fellow internet addict, I have had many a late night MSN conversation with him.
This was a joint present from me and two other friends. We must have spent at least two hours trawling the catalogue for the perfect shirt. By the time we found this one our eyes were scratchy an our index fingers were sore from pointing, scrolling and clicking - it was like the search for the Holy Grail. And then we saw this, and looked upon it and knew it was good. I almost had a heart attack thinking it wouldn't be in stock, but it was! I ordered it very quickly and ten days later it came. (I live in the UK so shipping takes a while, although I have always found the Threadless mail order service brilliant). Anyway, I bestowed my gift upon my friend yesterday, and he loved it. Perfect fit, excellent colour and, of course, a slogan that summed him up perfectly. The warm fuzzy feeling inside me lasted for hours. I had a similar experience when I gave two Threadless shirts as gifts at Christmas. And that, my friends, is why Threadless is the perfect site with which to spread joy. |
I enjoy gooning out with my friends, answering questions obnoxiously, reading and watching films, using Ask instead of Google and Threadless.
I'm a fandom geek, specialising in Doctor Who, House and Spaced. |
