What are people doing for the summer?

Well this year has been my placement year at university. I Have to work for a whole year with a company and write a 12000 word report at the end of it. It has been soul destroying. Then im back to uni for my final year in September. But before that is.... SUMMER. I finish my placement in 58 days! I cant wait!
The day I finish I get home from work, get my stuff together and head to Glastonbury Festival!!
Once that is done I get 4 days rest and fly out to Denmark for 11 days for Rosklide Festival. (biggest festival in northern Europe)
The day I get back from that I am moving into my new uni house which is so fecking big and in an amazing location (close to campus AND subway)!
I then spend a few weeks between my uni house making music with my band and going to my home and hanging out with my friends while they are back from uni, going to the pub, playing garden cricket, playing poker and having plenty of BBQs!
Then in August I have Reading Festival!
Then back to uni in September for a lot of drinking and university fun!
Seriously, this summer is going to be the best. I am so happy right now!

Off to All Tomorrows Parties in a couple of weeks, then going away on a canal boat with about 10 friends and a dog. It'll be like an Enid Blyton adventure. Then hopefully I'll fit in a couple of long weekends in Europe somewhere, and then spend some time back home at my folks' once my dad is fully recovered.

going to a writing camp at Kenyon College for two weeks.

Hopefully getting a job of some sort.

Concerts which have not yet been announced but which will hopefully be awesome.

Lots of reading, relaxing, and hopefully working out.

I'm going to my friends bachelorette party in Florida in a few weeks, then to Puerto Rico in June, my sister is having a baby in July, and other than that... working. My mom is also having surgery somewhere in there and probably some tubing and canoeing trips.

Works sucks, stay in school, you'll never get summer off again!! Unless you're a teacher.
