HELP!!!

So, I opened my secret Valentine... it was awesome!! Here's what I got:



- a pirate hat - everybody loves pirates!
- a cute beaker with hearts on it
- a sushi box
- some Hershey's kissables
- a Texas shot glass and postcard (I LOVE THEM)
- some stickers from threadless and extra tasty etc
- PEZ! I love pez!
- 'sweethearts' candy
- a slinky
- some beautiful notecards and a pen

I thought after last week's amazing shirts it might be a quiet week... but no... instead they print Mission 6, books are good for you and that cool one with the little bugs... seriously... my bank balance can't take it!!! *goes off to take product pics for STPs*

Do you think if I have Funkalicious I shld still get Mission 6?? It's more astronauts on navy... I know it's different really... and I really love it... but I can only afford 2 shirts and I want about 5 at the moment!!!

... but I can't open it til Feb 14th!! That's what it says anyway and I'm going to be TOTALLY RESTRAINED... I've sent mine off as well today so some lucky person who shall remain nameless has got a package winging its way to them... rock and roll!!

I don't want to speak to soon as I don't know who the seller is and I'm not 100% on distribution rules about photos of graffiti art (to say the least) but this looks like the exact photo that whoever chavved Tagged from Miso and Ghostpatrol used to do their trace from... which doesn't of course mean it's them selling the print on Etsy but it does seem a little odd or ironic or something if someone *else* is trying to make money off the same design...

... No, not of someone wearing the shirt... of the giant inflatable rat in the product photo... I saw it when I was in NYC during my gap year (summer '05)... was just browsing the site and suddenly noticed it... voila my pic:

My friend Dan and I invented him cos we are obsessed with slender lori. We want to own one for a pet and have him put his humanoid fingers gently on our faces in the middle of the night. Anyway I LOVE him and I wondered if you guys thought it would be worth working him into a T-shirt somehow?? I think he's probably a little bit plain as is but I don't really know how I could jazz him up. (A little hat or something...?!!!) For one thing I'm at my colour limit...

The one thing I had thought was I could make his front hand be open to the 'viewer', like he wants to shake hands or say hello... like in this pic



Any ideas?? Or should I just give up and keep him for my own?

I am back up to uni tomorrow and so excited as when I ordered my shirts in the sale (4 of them!) I got them posted to my college address as I didn't know how long the postage would take... it's a bit variable as I live in the UK... and then of course they came much sooner than I thought they would and have been sitting there for about 2 weeks, waaaah, how frustrating! But it means that when I go back there will be a little parcel of love waiting for me, wooohoo :) Now I just have to decide which to wear first...

So it's 4.24 AM and I finally finished polishing my first design enough to submit it... riiiight... Threadless has officially taken over!

UPDATE - I can't believe how quickly they dealt with it - got a bit of a shock as I clicked on 'score some designs' and saw mine right in front of me... how exciting... it's not particularly clever, only a picture, but I have been on Threadless for a few months now so I thought I had probably seen and scored enough designs to start subbing my own if I was ever to do it...
