So, now that I'm home for winter break, my dad thought it would be a great idea for him to throw a job at me, so I wouldn't be bored.
The job starts tomorrow... I have to work 8-5, Monday through Friday. It's the first time I'll be working at a desk for an entire work day... I mean, I've worked in a grocery store before, but this is for a big company, and it's a big deal. My official title is "Web Coordinator", or at least, I think it is... I'll be helping their current programmers out with their new website that they are building. It's a good thing they work with PHP, or I'd be screwed! I'll also be doing some lame entry work, but I guess that just comes with the job... The worst part about all of this, is I can't wear threadless shirts to work... not even Home is Where the Heart Is!! Oh well, wish me luck!
Well... it's come to that time where I have to wash my hoodie...
I'm worried about shrinkage... I ordered a large, and it fits PERFECTLY... I'm worried that it's gonna shrink too much and look retarded... Should I hang dry it, or will it not shrink too much... I'm not too familiar with the hoodie's shrinkingness... Any comments are greatly appreciated.
Has anybody had a problem with their drawstrings in their hoodie unraveling? I had to burn the ends of mine to prevent them from getting any worse.
Not a problem... was just wondering if other users were experiencing this...
I should reward myself with a t-shirt... suggestions?
I am going to purchase the MPG Hoodie later today (if there are still any in stock, yieks!) and I thought we could have a little contest to see who gets my STP from the sale!
This one is easy, and anyone can win. I am about to go pick up my "Home is where the Heart is" t-shirt from our document center here on campus. All you have to do is guess what color bird I got! I'll take everyone that got it right, throw them into a hat (computer generated hat of course), and I'll randomly pick a winner! It's that simple! I get the shirt in about 45 minutes, but I'll leave about two hours for guessing. Good luck! Ladykat is the winner! about Infinity MPG
Finally, you've made my day threadless.I counted all of my change that I had back home over thanksgiving, and I have 35 dollars in change... now I don't feel so bad about paying that much for a hoodie!
I've been thinking about submitting a design to threadless for quite some time. I'm no graphic designer, and I'm not really all that good at art, but I've had some ideas for t-shirts, that I'd really like to be critiqued.
I've just been second guessing if I should submit my ideas, I sometimes think they are too corny, or too childish. How do those that have had designs win come up with your ideas? And how would someone like me, who has no design skills, draw it on the computer? I have Photoshop and a tablet PC, but are there any tutorials that you would recommend for fine tuning my design before submission. |
Threadless is the label that distracts me from my schoolwork.
I'm an 18 year old college student, attending Alfred State College for Software Development. I stumbled upon threadless through a link on Joystiq.com, and have been hooked ever since! Shirts I Own:
