I keep seeing people talk about a rumored upcoming sale... where are these rumors coming from? Any validity to them, or is it just a case of "he said that she said that they said..."?

So I'm kinda new here to Threadless - just registered last week, and haven't bought anything quite yet (though I've got quite a wishlist going!). From what I can tell, Threadless seems to have $10 sales every once in a while, where every currently printed shirt is $10. Nice deal - save $5 a shirt!

My question - how often are these sales? From looking at the blog history, it seems like there are maybe three or four of them per year. Sometimes they don't occur for 6 months or so, and sometimes they are within just a couple months. Is this correct? I'm making this assumption by doing a blog search for "$10" and seeing everything that pops up.

It also appears that the latest sale was just about a month ago, during August. Seems to me then, that by the time the next $10 sale comes around, all the currently printed shirts are going to be sold out. Based on your past experience here, does that seem like a safe bet?

I guess what this means then, is that if there are any shirts currently up on Threadless that we like, we might as well buy them now because they'll be all gone by the time the next sale rolls around. Am I right or am I right? or wrong?
