Hey skafiend, you should look at my glasses. You'll like 'em, I promise: I have the top and middle colours.

Most commenters sided with Threadless; they labeled the designer a “thief” and a “disgrace,” and then the discussion quickly devolved into a geeky parade of sarcastic comments: “This shirt is racist,” someone wrote. “This shirt was responsible for the Defenestration of Prague,” went another. “This shirt stole my bike” and “This shirt was on the grassy knoll” soon followed. T-shirt hobbyists apparently have better things to do on the Internet than discuss intellectual property law all day.

Oh, stop it spinich. Wear the damn things with pride. Any ska heads would welcome someone wearing these. Just drop names like Laurel Aiken, Skatelites, very early Bob Marley (he was a ska act when he first stared) and Rankin Roger and you'll be OK

But whatever you do, don't mention Reel Big Fish or No Doubt. THEN they will kick your ass... LOL

Actually, I wouldn't blame any Mexican but rather SEARS, a major conglamorate that should know better than to sell copyright material without permission. And I don't care where the Sears is located. Here's hoping the original designers sue their asses. Bet Sears blames some lowly stock boy for the "mistake"

On an unrelated note, I got to leave work early today, at 11:30!!! I work in a major government building and there was an electrical fire in the basement. It messed up some stuff and they told everyone to clear the building because they were shutting it down for the day. There was no real danger, but SWEET! Electrical fires RULE!!!

Isn't Sears (still) headquartered in Chicagoland?

Now there's irony for ya. Threadless ripped off by the local megacorp.

regular salary. I don't get overtime pay, just time off in compensation. which sucks because I have to work on the weekends a lot. I'm working this weekend at the Blue Fest in Grant Park. I have to sit at a table in a tent in the hot sun ans pass out brochures on abused children and foster kids. Yeah, just what people want to hear about when they're going out to drink beer and listen to some downhome blues...

Yeah, Sears is HQed in Chi... They are some ruthless bastards. I think they used to sell sweatshop products too a while back...

I want to know - who is the quoted artist on Threadless with 35 design not prints who stated that they would demand reparations from Threadless for the stolen 'Tagged' design if they were the originating artist?

You know who you are!

Yeah, like Threadless has control over someone pinching the artwork right off the web page, and then re-doing it in Illustrator. Why not sue Sears? they have more money anyway...

"A couple weeks later he spotted another Threadless design at Sears, a pileup of demented bunnies eyeing a forlorn carrot."

Ahahah!
