about MP(3)
So I bought MP(3) the minute I saw it on Threadless, once I got it, I wore it to school. My super strict principal comes up to me and tells me to turn my shirt inside out or wear something over it. I asked him why and he told me that it displays violence and that we are against violence at my high school.
I then proceed to tell him that if guitars are violent, then he needs to do something about the twenty or so kids who play guitar in the school and bring their guitars and play in between classes.

Stupiddumbheadgrr.

He didn't kick me out. He just looked at me funny and told me to go to class.

And yeah, he's a dick.

Just curious... is the army allowed to recruit at your high school? Is your principle actually anti-war or does he just like being a jerk?

When I was in school you couldn't wear anything with nudity, swearing, guns, etc. on it.

Why? Shirts don't kill.... As a swede, this is beyond me.

as a dutchman, it's beyond me as well. I heard about stories here in Holland that forbid 10 year old kids to wear a shirt that says 'BITCH' on it, but I can understand that...

A woman I know had her daughter sent home from school because she was wearing a sun dress and the straps were too thin.

Her daughter is 6.

It amuses me that he would say such a thing because there are no guns or fighting anywhere on the design. I'm surprised he didn't give you detention or something for your sass, but well said!
